Experience
Justin Giallonardo is a dedicated family man and an active member of the Central Louisiana business community who not only serves as President of Real Estate for his family’s business, Dargent Companies but has been involved in multiple community organizations throughout the years.
Family is an incredibly important part of Justin’s life, both personally and professionally. Justin’s father, Thomas Giallonardo III, founded Dargent Companies nearly 25 years ago after working for years with his own father as a masonry contractor. He ran the business for many years, and – as they began to build their own professional careers within the business – Thomas tapped his older son, Tommy, to run the construction division and Justin to run the commercial Real Estate division.
It was always Justin’s intention to work for the family business; when he joined the company in 2007 as a Field Representative, he also enrolled at Louisiana State University in Alexandria and began taking courses in business administration, operations, and management. After two years, Justin transferred to the University of North Texas, where – while enrolled – he stepped into the position of Project Manager with Dargent. In 2011, Justin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and also became one of the youngest recipients in the nation of the CCIM designation at just 23 years old. The following year, he became Dargent Companies’ Development Manager.
From Development Manager, Justin Giallonardo became the Vice President of Business Development before working his way up to President of Business Development and eventually his current position, President of Real Estate, in 2019. Throughout his work, he developed specializations in site selection, commercial real estate brokerage, property management, and tenant representation.
In his work at Dargent Companies, Justin Giallonardo is knowledgeable about all phases of the commercial real estate cycle: site selection, due diligence, financial analysis, entitlement, pre-construction planning, financing, construction, leasing, stabilization, and disposition. Justin and his team can guide you through the complex and often lengthy process or even just offer assistance at any phase you may need. He has enjoyed working with so many like-minded individuals in the world of commercial real estate and has developed lifelong relationships with many other local professionals.
As an active member of his community, Justin has been involved with several organizations. He was a two-term president of the Young Professionals Group of Cenla and the Louisiana Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) chapter. Justin also volunteered with Rotary International, the Boys and Girls Club of El Camino Real, and Kiwanis International.
